Arcadia Pre-Teen to Sing National Anthem at Metro Orange Line Opening

12 year old Kyrsti Chavez from Arcadia, will be singing the
National Anthem for the Metro Orange Line Extension opening, on Friday June 29
in Chatsworth. Kyrsti Chavez sang the National Anthem for the Opening
Ceremonies in 2005 when she was in kindergarten.
Kyrsti Chavez has been performing since the age of 3. She has performed at
Arcadia Mayors Breakfast and was a regular Anthem singer at Toyota Speedway
in Irwindale when it was opened. Kyrsti enjoys singing for Charities,
Her favorite song is, the Star Spangle Banner, she say, ” its hard to sing and fun at the same time, I love the challenge”.
