A Monrovia gang member who shot a 16-year-old boy in 2008 was sentenced Monday to 40 years to life in prison in a Alhambra Superior Court.
On February 2, a jury convicted Santana of the Jan. 12, 2008 shooting of the teen, shooting from a motor vehicle and assault with a firearm. 23-year-old Jimmy Santana shot and left a local teenager paralyzed after that drive-by shooting on Peck Road.
