The Caltech Bands presents the 32nd annual Bandorama. This event will take place on Friday, May 11th and Saturday, May 12th at 8 PM in Ramo Auditorium. Featured are the Caltech – Occidental Concert Band and the Caltech Jazz Bands directed by William Bing, and guest artists composer Frank Ticheli and singer Kjerstin Williams.

The Caltech-Occidental Concert Band has performed at Carnegie Hall and the Great Wall of China. They have plans for a trip to perform in San Francisco in March of 2013.

Special guest conductor and composer is Frank Ticheli, who will conduct his own compositions Blue Shades, Simple Gifts and Sanctuary. Frank Ticheli is well known for his works for concert band, and has appeared as guest conductor at Carnegie Hall, and at many universities and music festivals all over the world including Austria, Beijing and Shanghai, London and Manchester, Singapore, Rome, Sydney, and numerous cities in Japan.
