The City Council voted 6-to-1 Monday to ok an EIR to allow the Rose Bowl to vie as a host, albeit temporary, for an NFL team .
City Manager Michael Beck said an NFL team in Pasadena could generate millions in revenue for Pasadena. With severe cuts in state budget and RDA’s demise, Beck thinks this might be just the right thing to make a dent in Pasadena’s bank account.
