Real Food Daily to open third location in Pasadena this Spring
Real Food Daily, Los Angeles’ much loved premier organic vegan restaurant, has acquired a prime location in the South Lake Avenue district of Pasadena. The 3,600 square foot restaurant will be Real Food Daily’s largest footprint and the perfect spot for the concept’s highly acclaimed, full service casual dining concept. Real Food Daily takes over the space formerly operated by Baja Fresh.
“Pasadena is a prime trade area and perfect for kicking off the expansion of Real Food Daily”, said Ann Gentry, founder. “I witnessed the renaissance in Pasadena over the last decade, and always wanted to open here. There has always been a consistent ‘drum beat’ from my existing guests to open in Pasadena.” In addition to its third location in Pasadena, Real Food Daily has entered into a licensing agreement with HMS/Host to operate a Real Food Daily concession in the Los Angeles airport. The LAX location is scheduled to open in September.
Real Food Daily’s Pasadena expansion is being financed by a private investor group led by Duncan Lemmon, Principle in the RFD Pasadena LLC. Lemmon saw huge growth opportunity with Real Food Daily after being a customer for ten-plus years and was excited by the prospect of rolling out a multi-store chain.
Business Development Executive Jim Konstantinides put together the Pasadena deal for Real Food Daily and is working on more locations he plans to announce later this year.
Real Food Daily Pasadena is located at 899 E. Del Mar Blvd., Pasadena, and scheduled to open in early May.
