Arcadia PD Conducting Sobriety and License Checkpoints

The Arcadia Police Department Traffic Bureau will be conducting a sobriety and driver’s license checkpoint at multiple locations within the city on Saturday, January 28. According to statistics, more deaths and injuries are caused by impaired drivers than any other violent crimes, including hand guns and knives combined. That being said, APD would like to remind the public of the dangers associated with drinking and driving and encourage the use of sober designated drivers.

Jan’s Towing provides a no cost “Don’t Drive Drunk” detour program, 365 days a year, and will provide a free lift home for drivers and their vehicles up to 7 miles in their service area. Call (626) 334-1383 for more information.
Visit the Arcadia Police Department News & Information Blog or follow us on Facebook, Twitter or Nixle for other pertinent news and information.

APD says “Remember, the solution begins with you! “
