Officers Shoot and Kill Vandal at Carl’s Jr
Police officers Monday morning shot and killed a man who had been breaking windows at a Carl’s Jr. Restaurant in Montery Park.
Around 9:30 a.m. Monterey Park Police officers received a call that a male Hispanic adult had been breaking windows with a metal bar at the fast food restaurant.
When officers arrived they saw patrons of the restaurant running toward them, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Sgt. Pauline Panis, officers tased the suspect, but it was ineffective, she said. Officers felt threatened and used their firearms.
