Dog Haus owners and staff helped serve up some gourmet hot dogs and chili with all the trimmings for homless men an women in Pasadena Tuesday.
The popular restaurant and Biergarten in Pasadena lent a hand to help some less fortunate this holiday season by giving something back at Union Station Adult Services.
This annual event that reminds homeless men and women that they are cared about by many in their community. Lunch featured signature Haus Dogs, chili and cheese and other surprises.
Union Station Homeless Services is the San Gabriel Valley’s largest social service agency assisting homeless and very low-income adults and families. Our mission is to help men, women and children rebuild their lives and end homelessness. Union Station provides comprehensive services to help homeless individuals achieve self-sufficiency, including intake and assessment, emergency shelter, case management, career counseling, transitional housing, medical and mental health services, women’s and family services, and housing resources.
It has been a busy year at Dog Haus with the opening of two new locations: Dog Haus Biergarten and Dog Haus To Go in Old Pasadena as well as with the growth of its original Pasadena location. Preparations are in the works for opening another in Alhambra early 2012.
