LA County Pubic Works plans on starting work on removal of 11 acres of pristine woodlands will, in fact, go ahead starting Wednesday despite huge public outcry and protest. The 30 day moratoreum has just expired and it looks like the destruction of hundreds of mature oak and sycamore trees will take place. More when we have official word.
