The Arcadia Red Cross open contrary to reports of the local chapter closing its doors. However some employees have been laid off and we are waiting for further information from the communications direction and will advise our readers as soon as we know the facts.
The Arcadia Weekly spoke with Los Angeles Red Cross Communications director, Charlie Sardou who informed us some personnel issues resulted in 2 management staffers and 8 instructors leaving but the local Chapeter of the Red Cross is alive and well. Ben Green, the new Interim CEO, will oversee the changes but the offices are still open and all facilities running as planned.
