The first batch of ballots arrived at the central coutimg headquarters in the Arcadia City Council Chambers at around 8:45 pm Tuesday evening. City staff and volunteer election workers immediately began counting the ballots at that time.
Ballots from precincts One, Twelve and Fourteen and Twenty-Two were among the first to arrive. But election workers were still busy opening vote-by-mail ballots, which will be the first votes counted.
Arcadia Weekly will update this site with the results of the vote-by-mail tally as soon as they are tabulated.
