Healthcare Not Warfare Vigil Held outside Adam Schiff’s Office

Roberta Medford and a handful of other opponents of war funding in the United States held a peaceful vigil with signs outside the Senior Center in Pasadena Wednesday afternoon asking for “Healthcare not Warfare”.
The diminutive group of individuals faced a majority support during their one hour protest but one passer-by said he’s supports war. When Medford asked him which war he supported, he said ” I support all our wars.”

For the most part, the lunchtime motorists honked their horns for support of the small but unwavering group as they stood across from Adam Schiff’s office.
The foothills peace coalition PDA Brown Bag Lunch Vigil will be held every third Wednesday of the month – therefore the next Vigil will be on April 21 outside the senior center in Pasadena. For more information on how you can get involved in the group contact: robertamedford@ucla.edu
