

The Early Morning Earthquake Rattles Nerves in Southland
A moderate earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale was felt in a large area around Los Angeles at 4.04 am Tuesday, March 16, 2010. The quake knocked books of shelves in some homes in Pasadena but otherwise caused little to no damage. The quake was centered near Pico Rivera. For more quake information go to the Caltech web site.
