Citing tough economic times for many in the community and the country generally, Arcadia city council candidate Paul Cheng said his commitment to the people of Arcadia will be his time and service. Calling for a Youth Commission of sorts, Cheng said we need to focus more attention on positive youth activities in a press conference held on Friday.
Cheng is a former city prosecutor with experience in mediation in the Los Angeles City Attorney.
Cheng’s stand is essentially to preserve the general plan; reduce traffic congestion, increase public safety by adding more police and fire personnel.
Arcadia votes on April 13, 2010.
