Corey Calaycay, the Mayor of Claremont, is considering a run for the California State Assembly seat currently held by retiring Assemblyman Anthony Adams. Adams had promised to serve for only two terms and is keeping that promise even after overcoming recall attempts.
Calaycay said that he is in the process of making a decision regarding running. “I am seriously, very seriously considering running, but am not yet ready to make any formal announcement,” he said.
