Authorities Thursday were looking for a suspect who fled following a confrontation with deputies who were serving an eviction notice at an apartment building in Glendora.

No injuries were reported in the incident that occurred about 8:35 a.m. in the 100 block of East Route 66, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and the Glendora Police Department.

“An incident occurred at the Avalon Apts … while LASD was serving an eviction notice,” Glendora police said in a statement posted on Twitter, but no other details were immediately released.

According to Fox11, the suspect who was being sought allegedly assaulted a sheriff’s deputy who was involved in serving the eviction notice.
